Birthday's and Autism

Adam gets asked by a lot of people to have him over.  Partly because they realize Adam is a genuinely cool kid they want to spend time with and other reasons because he is quite the entertaining little boy.

Who is that boy?

Adam was frustrated with me earlier because I showed him a video of him and my dad riding around on a 4 wheeler years ago.  Adam and Grandpa 4 Wheeler Click here

Adam watched the video and said, "Who is that boy with Grandpa on his 4wheeler, I want to go ride with Grandpa!!!"

It always concerns me that there are times when Adam does not recognize himself and It pierces my soul right to the asunder.  There are moments that I am filled with great joy and there are moments that I am filled with great sadness.

I am at one of those moments now.
