Here Kitty Kitty

Most of the time,  it is Adam that is going around saying things that have me all cracked up but Abigail decided that she would make her mark as well.

I stay up overnight because I work overnight and it is easier for me to stay in the same routine, sleep some in the day, get the kids off the bus and may lay down for a bit before I head into work.

This morning around 3 AM Abigail decided she was going to get up because she said her brain just couldn't shut off she has been thinking about a cat and how it would really help us all out if we had a cat. I told her that I was not sure a cat could be a good thing and besides that I think I might now have an allergy to them and then she piped up and said, "When you die can we get a cat then?" Excuse moi?

I told her the only way I was going to let her have a cat was if God put that thing in our yard and it fell out of the sky or something. To which Abigail said, "Ok Daddy I will pray for it!"

As God as my witness, the kids are at school and I am up. I went outside because our shed door was open and I went to close the door that keeps swinging open and shut, open and shut. And walking back toward the house out of nowhere this kitten fell out of the sky. My mouth about fell to the ground. I said to God, "Oh No Lord, I was just kidding about the cat!" And I started to panic when our neighbor came to the fence and started calling for Kitty.

Apparently,  the silly cat climbed up their tree and wouldn't come down so the guy threw a rope up on the limb where the cat was and he had pulled on it hoping to pull it closer to the ground but the thing snapped loose causing the Kitten to go sailing through the air like a slingshot and landed right in our yard in front of me.

Holy snot......about wet myself. You gotta be careful what you pray for, you just might get a kitten falling from the sky.
